News of the BioShock Collection’s Nintendo Switch port will surely add additional fuel to the recent rumours of an upcoming Nintendo Direct.

Either way, if you’re looking to explore the retro-futuristic world of BioShock for the first time, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the Collection has got you covered (DLC and all). While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the fact that each game has been given its own rating could suggest that (in addition to buying the entire BioShock collection) individual titles may be available to download separately.

The newly listed ratings, which come before any official announcement, reveal that Nintendo Switch owners could soon be playing remastered versions BioShock 1 and 2, alongside the complete edition of BioShock Infinite. Imo, unacceptable and inexcusable from 2k, among other things. It looks as though the Bioshock Collection will be coming to Nintendo Switch at some point in the future, as four new BioShock ratings have popped up on the Taiwanese games rating board. This bug apparently existed on the original pc version which the collection was ported from, and was never fixed in the collection. I lost about 5 hours of gameplay to this bug on Switch, which was particularly frustrating as I was playing it on the highest difficulty.Īdmittedly the bug seems to be somewhat rare, as apparently it also exists on the ps4 version, which I platinumd without encountering it, but man was I angry when it happened on Switch, going from completely having researched the little sisters/rosies/leadheads/nitros/spiders (on survival difficulty, which eats through resources and requires tons of saving/reloading/scroungingnhitandruntactics, to being forced back to the auto save where I didn't even have the camera and had just entered the level was infuriating, to the point I wished I hadn't even bought it for the 10 bucks I paid for it. Make sure to keep two consecutive save files, the collections have a bug where it has the potential to crash your game while saving and corrupt your save file.
